A community focused poetry organisation I produce and co-host with fellow poet Iftikhar Latif.

Off The Chest first launched at East London’s HiLand Cafe on Roman Road in October 2019. In 2022 we received Arts Council Funding, and we have performed in multiple venues around the UK, to sell-out audiences; this includes Canada Water Theatre, Rich Mix, Omnibus Theatre, Hyde Park Book Club in Leeds, Brighton Komedia, Love Supreme Festival and All Points East.

We also run regular workshops, both online and in person. Our ethos is to create spaces for poetry; we are proud to give a platform to poets of all stages and backgrounds through our open mics and workshops, as well as hosting some of the most acclaimed poets in the UK poetry scene.
